As we build towards the autumn class schedule (which will be sent out to those on our mailing list in late July/early August), you can meet us at
Saturday 28 June - Cabrach will be providing the traditional music for SC&T at the Lemon Tree from 12.30 to 2pm.
There will be more traditional music on Saturday lunchtimes over the next few weeks following the sucessful launch weekend.
Stonehaven Folk Festival. Saturday 12 July from 12 noon. Led by Sandy Tweddle at the Belvedere Hotel, 41 Evan Street, Stonehaven AB39 2LR.
Aberdeen's Tartan Day. 2 August 2008. SC&T will be involved but the programme is not yet fixed. It will be published here as soon as we can.
Singing Songs of the Sea - Thursday 18th September in the Northern Lights room at the Beach Ballroom. Part of the See, Salt and Sound Festival. More details available soon.

Looking for Volunteers!
Activities at SC&T happen through the time, enthusiasm and energies of our volunteers. We are always needing an extra hand here and there. How can you help out?
- End of term concerts - set up, raffles, comperes or sound technicians.
- Open mics - comperes, stage managers or general assistance
- Photography at various events
- General assistance with other events and activities
- We are interested in hearing from singers, storytellers and musicians who can work with children in after-school (or during school time) events to join our group of tutors. Please contact the SC&T office.
