Alastair MacDougall

Alastair started playing guitar during the 60's folk boom in his home town of Glasgow and was a member of a local folk band 'Sanna' for a number of years. Since settling in Aberdeenshire in the early 90's he has become increasingly busy playing (and singing) at sessions, concerts and as an accompanist for renowned NE fiddler Paul Anderson on a regular basis Alastair incorporates a 'thumb/finger style' right hand technique for both traditional tunes and song accompaniment.
