Enrolment has now started for the Ceilidh Dance workshop on Saturday 4th November.

In the workshop participants will gain an insight into what this top band regards as the really important aspects of playing for dance and a chance to put some of these ideas into practice - matching music to the dance, matching style of playing to the dance, calling the dance and coping with problems.

This workshop is for musicians who are currently involved in ceilidh dance bands or would like to be. More details are given on the workshop page. You can download a booking form here.

The Occasionals are one of the most highly respected dance bands in Scotland and recently brought out their 5th CD of dance music. They are all excellent musicians individually and work together to play for dancing.
