Cultural Pathfinder Project

City of Aberdeen & Aberdeenshire Cultural Pathfinder Project wants to hear from all of you!

What best sums up the distinctive nature of Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire – the oil industry or fishing? Farming or information technology? What do people imagine when they hear of the City and Shire – is it Doric, or a cosmopolitan community? The weather, or the granite?

These questions are the starting point for a study taking place over the next few months that will try and pin down people’s view of the ‘culture’ of the City and Shire, and then look at ways of supporting it better.

It’s one of thirteen similar ‘pathfinder’ studies taking place across Scotland with a view to giving people more of a say in what happens in the culture of their area – what it is, and how it develops in the future.

So what’s your culture ?  You can help shape the future by completing an online questionnaire, simply visit:

www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=0ouczO3aY2cUJmEw0UUL3w_3d_3d

All submissions will be treated as confidential and comments will be unattributed if used in any future reports.

Responses should be with us by November 23rd.

THANK YOU for your help – your contribution counts.

This study has been commissioned by Aberdeen City Council and Aberdeenshire Council with support from the Scottish Executive and is being undertaken by independent consultants.
