 Lu McClintock has been a tutor with the Scottish Culture and Traditions Association since 2003.
She took up the harp in her late teens and started playing the harp again in a SCAT class in 2001. She draws influences from jazz, rock, blues, flamenco and classical as well as traditional music and has been involved in a Heavy Metal band (with bass guitar) and has been a double bass, tin whistle and guitar player. When not wrapped round a harp she grows giant pumpkins.
She performs with the Harping Hussies (drawn from the SCaT classes) and in smaller groups or solo at various events.
