Class: Cape Breton Fiddle Description : Carley has been a tutor with the Scottish Culture and Traditions Association on and off since 2005. Carley Williams moved to Aberdeen in 2004. She has been playing fiddle since age ten, learning from Cape Breton masters such as Buddy MacMaster, Jackie Dunn, Howie MacDonald and Carl MacKenzie, not to mention quite a few Scots! Throughout her fiddle career, Carley has attended numerous workshops throughout North America and Scotland, and has fiddled for dancers from Vancouver to San Francisco to Spain. In high school she co-founded and tutored the Vancouver Scottish Fiddle Club, and recorded a CD with some cohorts from Valley of the Moon Scottish Fiddle School.
