Class participants and tutors have been drawn from various parts of the world (including tutors from Hungary, the Netherlands and Spain and partcipants from Japan, Switzerland, Slovakia among others). We ask participants about their main cultural background each year - this is the most recent result of that survey:  Everyone comes together from a shared love of music, dance and/or language and a wish to learn more.
People come to the classes from various parts of Aberdeen and from outside Aberdeen - some travelling long distances to reach the classes each week. Our workshops also attract people from far afield for example from London and Dublin.
