Dave Lorimer

Dave Lorimer has had a keen interest in Scottish songs and tunes from an early age, learning to play moothie and guitar whilst at school. He has attended several SC&T classes as a student, including Guitar Accompaniment, Mixed Instrument, Bodhran and Singing classes. Dave is a very enthusiastic performer and has recently raised over £100 for SC&T by busking with his guitar, bodhran and moothie at various venues around Aberdeen and at the Stonehaven Folk Festival.

Having developed a very successful engineering consultancy business, Dave recently retired in order to pursue his lifelong musical interests. He is an Aberdeen University graduate.
