David Anderson

David Anderson was brought up in Tarland and worked as a dairy farmer on his father's dairy for 17 years.  He started playing the fiddle at the age of seven. At the age of nine and to date he plays with the Strathspey and Reel Orchestra for Banchory and was taught by Jane Davidson of Banchory. Being in the Orchestra has enabled him to travel to many countries such as the USA, Canada, France and Germany.

His main interest lies with having a tune with the locals in Tarland and enjoying a quiet pint. He is glad of the opportunity to teach what he has learned over the years and to develop himself at the same time.
