Class: Clarsach 1 and 3

Lu McClintockLu McClintock has been a tutor with the Scottish Culture and Traditions Association since 2003.
She took up the harp in her late teens and started playing the harp again in a SC&T class in 2001. She draws influences from jazz, rock, blues, flamenco and classical as well as traditional music and has been involved in a Heavy Metal band (with bass guitar) and has been a double bass, tin whistle and guitar player. When not wrapped round a harp she grows giant pumpkins.
She performs with the Harping Hussies (drawn from the SC&T classes) and in smaller groups or solo at various events.

Class Updates

Week of 30th January.

The Spring Term started on 16th January.

It is possible to enrol at the Classes desk at Harlaw Academy on class nights between 6:45 and 7pm. All classes are running except Guitar 2 (Wednesdays)

Do go along and support our performers at the Lemon Tree on Saturdays (until 18 February) and join in the session on Tuesdays at O'Donoghue's.
