SC&T at International Fun Day

Sunday 29th May

Despite the wind, the SC&T stall stayed upright and our flyers were distributed by hand rather than all over the field - it was even, mostly, sunny! Huge thanks to Helen Lynch and Dave Lorimer, who did a stalwart job manning the stall all day, and to the other SC&T musicians who kindly showed up so we had a scratch band on the go all afternoon.

The highlight of the day was when all the bhangra dancers visited the stall in their full regalia - dancing a Flying Scotsman and drawing the biggest crowd of the day!

The organisers were very impressed that we managed continuous live music on the stall, and kept ‘bhanging’ on (sorry) about how the bhangra ceilidh was just what the day was about - we are now definitely booked to do a re-run of the McBhangra extravaganza onstage next year!
