Learning step dance

Saturday 14th June in the marquee in the Bellfield Park, Banchory.

Tutors gave people of all ages an introduction to scots song, whistle, fiddle, step dance and bodhran on a rainy day in Banchory.

With an audience swelled by ferrets and their owners sheltering from the rain, the bodhran players played on.

Our thanks go to the Banchory Birl committee for their support.

January 17 - O'Donoghues Sessions - back again

The O'Donoghues Sessions were a great success in the autumn of 2011 and are back in full force from 17th January. Join us from 9 pm each Tuesday evening for a friendly enthusiastic session of traditional music.

Class Updates

Week of 30th January.

The Spring Term started on 16th January.

It is possible to enrol at the Classes desk at Harlaw Academy on class nights between 6:45 and 7pm. All classes are running except Guitar 2 (Wednesdays)

Do go along and support our performers at the Lemon Tree on Saturdays (until 18 February) and join in the session on Tuesdays at O'Donoghue's.
