A keen group of 8 musicians gathered on 9th March to practice the session tunes. Another practice happened on Monday 16th March in the session room at Harlaw.

In addition to the 3 session tunes and the tune for the Session Song, we started on Calum's Road, tried Skye Boat Song by ear (G) and then tried the Islay Rant - click here to play a sample.

January 17 - O'Donoghues Sessions - back again

The O'Donoghues Sessions were a great success in the autumn of 2011 and are back in full force from 17th January. Join us from 9 pm each Tuesday evening for a friendly enthusiastic session of traditional music.

Class Updates

Week of 30th January.

The Spring Term started on 16th January.

It is possible to enrol at the Classes desk at Harlaw Academy on class nights between 6:45 and 7pm. All classes are running except Guitar 2 (Wednesdays)

Do go along and support our performers at the Lemon Tree on Saturdays (until 18 February) and join in the session on Tuesdays at O'Donoghue's.
