An evening of FREE instrument and foot stomping workshops with Breabach & Le Vent du Nord. In partnership with Aberdeen Performing Arts.

SC&T have teamed up with Aberdeen Performing Arts (APA) to bring you a fabulous opportunity to explore the relationship between Scottish and Canadian traditional music, with an evening of free workshops with Breabach and Le Vent du Nord.
Breabach were nominated for Best Scottish Folk Band in the Scots Trad Music Awards 2007 & 2008. Le Vent du Nord is one of Quebecs most-loved folk bands.
Quebec meets Scotland and joins forces on this outstanding tour! This is about more than just music - it is about the cultures of two nations; relationships between them during their history; and how they have influenced each other through their music.
This tour will demonstrate the power of music creating a wonderful live experience while also educating audiences in cultural and musical history.
APA are also giving SC&T Friends and participants the chance to see both bands in concert for a discounted price of £5.00 at the Music Hall on Thursday 04 February. Just mention SC&T when buying your ticket to receive the discount!
