Nicki Morris and Catriona Smith

Nicki Morris and Catriona Smith

Class: Scots Song 1

Nicki Morris
Nicki grew up in the Highlands dancing her way through countless village ceilidhs and singing along to Moira Anderson and Calum Kennedy. Since then she has sung with the Black Isle Boogie Band, Feisty Besoms and, more recently, with Shenanigans along with Janine and Indie, giving a new twist to some old tunes.

Catriona Smith
Catriona was born and brought up in the Highlands, but moved to Aberdeen quite a number of years ago. Catriona has always enjoyed singing in choirs and musical groups. She was introduced to Scots song a few years ago by Janice Clark, when she attended Feis Rois workshops in Ullapool, and continued to attend Janice's classes at SC&T. Catriona loves the traditional ballads and has sung at various venues around Aberdeen.
