Our Patrons

SC&T has two Patrons, Phil Cunningham and Alasdair Fraser.

Phil Cunningham, is one of Scotland’s most innovative musicians and long-standing champion of traditional music, and has been our patron since 2007.

Alasdair FraserAlasdair Fraser is a Scottish fiddle player, teacher, composer and ambassador for Scottish music, known and respected around the world. The Scottish Traditional Music Hall of Fame describes him as “one of the greatest carriers of the Scottish fiddle music tradition, a fiddler whose warmly expressive playing, mastery of his instrument and deep understanding of his native music is an inspiration to generations of musicians on both sides of the Atlantic.”




Class Updates

Week of 6th May

Monday 6th May is a holiday. There are no classes. Classes as normal from Tuesday. All Classes resumed week of, 22nd April and the last evening of classes will be on Monday 3rd June.

Online booking for this term is still open

Ceilidh Dance classes are now held on a Wednesday evening, 7-9pm, with Lynn Saunders at:The Boys Brigade HQ, Crimon Place, Aberdeen AB10 1RX.
