Callum, Ally and Kirsten, The Lemon Tree, Saturday 17th October, 1pm � 2pm

Callum, Ally and Kirsten Forsyth will launch the Autumn programme of Saturday lunchtime performances at The Lemon Tree. Gus MacDonald is putting together a series of performances by talented musicians and singers with a SC&T connection.

The Lemon Tree has a great sound system, manned by a sound engineer. At this time of day, it is a Café – offering Lunch from 12noon - 2pm. So, come and have some lunch and refreshment to the sounds of Scottish Culture and Tradition.

Bring along an instrument as there may well be a session to follow the performance till 3pm.

Callum (pipes/guitar) learned traditional acoustic guitar accompaniment at SC&T and is currently an S6 student at the National Centre of Excellence in Traditional Music in Plockton. He plays pipes with the Bucksburn and District Pipe Band and was in their championship winning Novice Juvenile lineup in 2008.

Ally (piano/guitar) has just started to learn guitar with SC&T and is an S5 pupil of Westhill Academy.

Kirsten (fiddle) has been learning tunes with SC&T as well as getting private tuition. She attended the Taransay fiddle camp for the first time this summer is an S3 pupil at Westhill Academy.

All have participated in and learned much from Aberdeen International Youth Festival SPLORE and the Gordon Gaitherin.
